Crittenton Services
November 6, 2006
"On behalf of Florence Crittenton Programs of
South Carolina, Inc., I would like to extend a sincere thank
you for your generous contribution of $500. Your
compassionate support assures that we are able to provide
the level of assistance needed for the low income, at-risk
single parents and children we serve.
It is through kindhearted donations from
organizations like the Carolinas Association of Neonatal
Nurse Practitioners that we are able to fulfull our mission
'to provide and promote those comprehensive medical,
educational, and support services that will most effectively
promote the well-being and self-sufficiency of single
parents and their infants in South Carolina.' With
your help, our clients are able to continue their education,
deliver healthy babies, and become self-sufficient members
of our community.
For more information on how your contributions
help to make a difference, we invite you to visit our
website at www.florencecrittentonsc.org.
Again, thank you for your thoughtful gift."

Crittenton Services
November 21, 2006
"It is with tremendous gratitude that the
Residents of Florence Crittenton Services, the Board of
Directors, and the staff thank you for your donation to
Florence Crittenton Services in the amount of
$500.
Your contribution is already hard at work
helping the young mothers and their babies at Florence
Crittenton Services. The Maternity Program clients are being
provided specialized residential care, counseling and case
management, educational & vocational training and
coordination of medical care. In addition to having
those same services, your gift is providing life skills for
six young at-risk mothers and their children in Crittenton's
Sarah's House program. Other Crittenton
programs through which your dollars are impacting young
lives include the residential Preparation for Adult
Living Skills Program (PALS), and two outreach programs
- Prenatal Parenting Education Program (PPEP) which
is a home visitation program and aftercare service for
former Florence Crittenton clients from surrounding counties
and the Florence Crittenton Services/Smart Start outreach
program.
We appreciate your generosity and your
partnering with us in our mission 'To Promote Health and
Hope For Tomorrow's Children'. "
Best Regards,
Marilyn Thompson

of the Duke Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
Program
"Thank you very much
for your generous scholarship contribution of $500, which
you donated to our Duke Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Program.
Based on scholarship and completion of half the NNP program.
Timothy Matthew Snow, one of our finest NNP students was
awarded your scholarship donation. Timothy will use his
award toward tuition as he progresses toward completion of
the NNP program. Support such as yours is a powerful
statement encouraging our students to contribute the pursuit
of their goal - to become a Neonatal Nurse
Practitioner.
Again, on behalf of
the Duke Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Program, we offer our
deepest appreciation for your thoughtful
generosity."

Note from Timothy M. Snow, NNP
Student, Duke Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
Program
I am a NNP student at Duke University that
was recently awarded a scholarship given by your
association. I am writing this letter to thank you for
the scholarship that I received.
I have worked extremely hard in order to
obtain my education. I work a full-time neonatal transport
position at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical
Center/Brenner Children's Hospital. I also have a wife and a
small child. Financing my education has been extremely
difficult. Gestures such as the one you have extended have
made my success possible. I am grateful for your
generosity.
I hope my letter will encourage you to
assist another student in the future. I look forward to
becoming an important part of your valuable association in
the future. Please feel free to contact me if I can ever be
of assistance.
Sincerely,

Note from Anne Shoaf, Executive Director of
Hospitality House of Charlotte
On behalf of the Board
of Directors, Staff, Volunteers and especially our Guests, I
thank you for your generous donation of $200 to Hospitality
House of Charlotte in honor of Dr. Luis M.
Perez.
Your gift helps
provide a 'home away from home' for families from outside
Charlotte who have a relative hospitalized here. We
anticipate having over 1200 Guests spend 6,000 nights in our
two houses in the next year. They will find not only a bed,
but a real home with washers and dryers, basic food and
refreshments and emotional support from other Guests,
Volunteers, and Staff. Because of your contribution, there
is no charge to Guests for these services.
Your gift to
Hospitality House will help provide a caring and comfortable
place to stay for people during a difficult time in their
lives. It is because of caring people like you that we are
able to make our 'Houses' a special place to
stay.
We want you to know
that we will mail today, an acknowledement of your donation.
Again, thank you for your support of Hospitality House of
